Terms of use and sale

Effective 26 September 2026.

These terms govern your use of the mobile game Platypus Evolution and purchases made in the game. They are agreed between you and the publisher, Maximilien Fort (see the legal notice). They do not reduce any of your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. The game

Platypus Evolution is a free breeding and collection game. It can be played without buying anything; some optional purchases let you progress faster. It is intended for people aged 16 and over. A minor needs their parents' permission for any purchase.

2. Account and save

• On first launch, the game creates a guest account (random player ID) to save your game online. You can link it to Google Play Games to find your game on another device or after reinstalling.
• Your game is stored on your phone and copied online as soon as possible. If two saves differ, the game automatically keeps the most advanced one; if a game already exists on your account while the one on the phone was never linked to it, the game asks you which to resume. The discarded game is kept on the phone.
• Without Google Play Games, a guest game may be lost if you uninstall the game or change devices.
• An account with no sign-in for 3 years is deleted, along with its online save.
• You can delete your account at any time: Menu › Settings › Delete my account, or through the request page.

3. Licence

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the game for private purposes. The game and all its content remain the property of the publisher and its licensors.

4. In-game currencies and items

• Coins are earned by playing. Stars are earned by playing (daily wheel, Platydex milestones) and can be bought.
• In-game currencies and items have no value outside the game: they cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another player. They do not expire.
• We do not change afterwards the value of stars you bought, nor remove an item you paid for, except for an obvious pricing error or a court decision.
• No purchase gives a random result: what you pay for is shown before you buy.

5. Purchases

• Products: star packs and the starter pack, described in the in-game shop before purchase.
• Price: shown by Google Play in your currency, taxes included, before you confirm.
• Payment: only through Google Play, under its terms. We never see any payment details.
• Delivery: immediate, as soon as Google Play confirms payment. You are never charged twice for the same purchase.
• Withdrawal: digital content is supplied immediately; at payment, Google Play asks for your consent to immediate supply and your acknowledgement that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal. For star packs, we additionally refund a pack none of whose stars have been used, if requested within 14 days of purchase: email feudartifistv+platypus@gmail.com with the Google Play order ID; the corresponding stars are removed from your account.
• Legal guarantee of conformity (EU Directive 2019/770): if a purchase is not delivered or does not work as described, contact us; we will deliver, fix or refund it.
• Google Play also applies its own refund policy.

6. Rules

Cheating (modifying the app, the save or the clock to gain an advantage, using third-party tools), selling accounts, or using the game unlawfully is forbidden. If this happens, we may cancel the gain and, in serious or repeated cases, suspend the account after telling you the reason in writing; you can contest by email.

7. Changes and end of service

The game evolves through updates. We do not remove paid content without an equivalent solution. If we change these terms significantly, we will tell you in the game at least 30 days in advance. If the game were to close, we would announce it at least 30 days in advance and stop all sales immediately.

8. Liability

We do our best to keep the game and online save working, but cannot guarantee permanent availability (network, third-party services). Nothing in these terms excludes our liability where the law forbids it, nor your legal guarantee of conformity.

10. Complaints and governing law

For any complaint: feudartifistv+platypus@gmail.com. We always look for an amicable solution; you may also use mediation or any other alternative dispute resolution method. These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence; the competent courts are those designated by law.
